Florida car insurance is determined in part by the laws of Florida. For example, in Florida car insurers must have PIP or Personal Injury Protection. This means that your insurance company will cover the cost of medical expenses up to a minimum of $10,000 for you and your passengers.
Another interesting variation is that Florida has a No-Fault system which means that your insurance company has to cover the expenses for any injuries incurred regardless of who caused the accident, up to an agreed amount.

All insurance companies will provide you with a free quote to determine how much your insurance premiums will be if you join them. But of course, not all car insurance quotes are equal, even though they are all free of charge.
